However, his terrible squawking (mistaken for singing) which embarrasses both Ariel and Eric prompts Sebastian to lead some animals of the lagoon to create a more fitting mood with his song "Kiss the Girl". Though if you listen closely, his singing actually harmonizes pretty well. In order to get them to kiss, Scuttle tries to provide some romantic stimulation.
